… From Old Money!

Guatemala Green Marble, French Red Marble

110cm x 55cm x 45cm (43.3” x 22” x 18”)

The two coins are one object, made of Guatemalan marble. They are depicting enlarged, archaic Chinese coins, glued to a solid red French marble base. Chinese bronze coins predate Western Aristocracy by thousands of years. Very old money!

Soldi molto vecchi.

Res Ipsa Loquitur! ... is a good example of John Greer's conceptual approach to the art of stone carving. Things speak for themselves. Look around the corner: Res Ipsa Loquitur! , 2005 - 2009
